Sandstorm
A deliberately oversold fleet of gVisor sandboxes for AI agents on cheap machines.
Sandstorm runs AI agent sandboxes on gVisor and tiers idle ones down (hot, frozen via cgroup freeze and zswap, snapshot to disk, detached) so a machine holds far more sandboxes than it could keep running; any request wakes a sandbox back to hot. A single sandstormd binary acts as master, node and web panel, with the master keeping desired state in SQLite. The README reports six 2-vCPU/2 GB nodes holding 20,000 sandboxes, and frozen wake times of roughly 100 ms.
