Dormice
Self-hosted, E2B-compatible agent sandboxes that persist and cost nothing when idle.
Dormice is a self-hosted sandbox platform for AI agents that treats sandboxes as permanent rather than disposable. An idempotent acquireSandbox(userKey) call creates, wakes, restarts or restores the same sandbox for a key, while idle sandboxes cool down through active, frozen, stopped and archived states. It deploys as one daemon with a SQLite ledger, uses Docker plus gVisor for execution and S3 for archives, and exposes an E2B-compatible API so the official e2b SDK works by changing two URLs. The project describes itself as in early development.
