A Dolt-backed graph issue tracker that acts as persistent memory for coding agents.
Beads (`bd`) is a distributed, dependency-aware graph issue tracker built for AI coding agents and powered by the Dolt version-controlled SQL database. It replaces markdown plans with a task graph so agents can work on long-horizon tasks: `bd ready` surfaces claimable work, hash-based IDs avoid merge collisions across agents and branches, and semantic compaction summarizes old closed tasks to save context. `bd init` and `bd setup` install guidance and hooks for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Factory Droid, and issues can be synced between machines and agents via Dolt remotes.
