QwenPaw is a personal AI assistant from the AgentScope organisation that runs locally or in the cloud and is reachable from DingTalk, Lark, WeChat, Discord, Telegram, iMessage and QQ. It has three-layer memory powered by ReMe and a built-in local runtime with QwenPaw-Flash models (2B to 35B-A3B), plus Ollama, LM Studio and 14+ cloud providers. Security features include a kernel-level sandbox, Tool Guard, File Guard, a skill scanner and access policies. It also supports sub-agents, Agent Communication Protocol (ACP) orchestration, skills, plugins and MCP. Recent releases added browser-use, computer-use and Codex/Qoder agent integration.

Pros & cons

Each point cites its sources and says what kind of evidence backs it. A second reviewer tried to refute every claim before it was kept.

Best for
Self-hosters who want a personal assistant across chat apps that can run on local Qwen models.
Watch out for
The project is young and the community is largely Chinese-language; check the sandbox claims yourself.
