Phantom is an open-source AI co-worker built on the Claude Agent SDK that runs on its own dedicated machine, where it installs software, spins up databases, builds tools and keeps persistent memory across sessions. It ships with Slack, Telegram, email and webhook channels plus a web chat, has its own email identity, exposes an MCP server and supports secure credential collection. Although Anthropic is the default, it supports seven providers including Z.AI, OpenRouter, Ollama, vLLM and LiteLLM, configured via YAML.
