Parlant

Parlant is a Python framework that bills itself as an interaction control harness for customer-facing agents, positioned as an open-source alternative to Ada, Decagon or Sierra. Rather than ever-growing system prompts or routed graphs, developers define guidelines, observations, knowledge and tools once, and Parlant's engine performs conversational context engineering — loading only the relevant rules and tools into the prompt per turn. It targets consistent, compliant, on-brand and traceable B2C and sensitive B2B interactions.
