OpenLIT is an Apache-2.0 platform that describes itself as built for agent harness engineering. It provides OpenTelemetry-native tracing of LLM calls, tool calls, MCP requests, retrieval and agent steps; evaluations (LLM-as-judge, programmatic and human feedback) with CI gates; runtime guardrails against prompt injection and restricted topics; a prompt hub, rule engine and secrets vault; model comparison; and cost and GPU monitoring. The self-hosted edition is free; an Enterprise Edition exists, and OpenLIT Cloud was not generally available as of this check.
