OmO (oh-my-openagent)

Multi-model coding agent harness with graph-style 'ultracode' workflows and memory.

code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent

Maintained by code-yeongyu

OmO, formerly the OpenCode edition oh-my-opencode, is a coding agent harness invoked with one omo command. It runs on senpi, its fork of the pi coding agent, and adds multi-model 'ultracode' workflow graphs triggered by the 'ulw' keyword, a memory system, CodeMode and Anthropic subscription support. Its CLI handles session resume, reasoning-effort control and an omo doctor that maps which task categories the configured providers can run. omo setup migrates provider keys, MCP servers and skills from older installs. It is licensed under the Sustainable Use License (SUL-1.0), not an OSI licence.

Pros & cons

Each point cites its sources and says what kind of evidence backs it. A second reviewer tried to refute every claim before it was kept.

Pros

  • DocsBundles multi-model orchestration, a git-backed markdown memory ("Kibitzer") and `/login` for Claude, ChatGPT, Kimi and GLM subscriptions.[1]
  • DocsSetup carries provider keys, MCP servers, skills and model picks over from the older OpenCode edition, and `omo doctor` reports what the old install left behind.[1]
  • MetadataLarge, active community: about 70k stars, 5.8k forks, and commits as of 2026-10-29.[1]

Cons

  • MetadataIt is not OSI open source: code outside third-party components is under the "Sustainable Use License" (a fair-code license).[1]
  • User reportsPlatform churn has broken users: an OpenCode 1.4.0 upgrade made oh-my-opencode disappear, and 5.0 moved the project onto "senpi", its own fork of pi.[1][2]
  • User reportsAbout 1,330 open issues, and past releases have hit Bun segfaults on install and missing agent lists after updates.[1][2][3]
  • DocsThe recommended install is `curl -fsSL https://get.omo.dev/install.sh | bash`, which some security policies disallow.[1]
Best for
Power users who want an opinionated, heavily automated multi-model agent and accept rapid breaking changes.
Watch out for
Read the Sustainable Use License before commercial use or redistribution, and pin versions because major updates have broken installs.
