IronClaw

IronClaw is an open-source personal agent OS from NEAR AI, written in Rust, aimed at routine tasks such as email triage, meeting prep and deployment monitoring. Its security model runs untrusted tools in WebAssembly containers with capability-based permissions, keeps credentials in an encrypted vault injected only at the host boundary for approved endpoints, scans outbound traffic for leaked secrets and allowlists network access. Data is stored locally and encrypted; hosted instances can run in trusted execution environments on NEAR AI Cloud. It is model-agnostic (Anthropic, OpenAI, Ollama) and installs via a guided `ironclaw onboard` setup.
