Gas Town
Multi-agent workspace manager with git-backed persistent work state.
Gas Town is a workspace manager for coordinating many AI coding agents (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Gemini and others) on different tasks. It persists work state in git-backed hooks and a Beads ledger so context survives agent restarts, and provides mailboxes, identities and handoffs between agents. Its model has a 'Mayor' AI coordinator over a town workspace containing per-project rigs with crew workspaces and 'polecat' worker agents on git worktrees; the README claims comfortable scaling to 20-30 agents.
