DeepCode

Open agentic coding harness with goal-driven loop engineering and Paper2Code.

HKUDS/DeepCode

Maintained by HKU Data Intelligence Lab (HKUDS)

DeepCode, from the HKUDS lab at the University of Hong Kong, is an open-source coding agent described as combining an agent harness, loop engineering and multi-agent orchestration. It offers TUI, desktop and web clients over one shared local service that share projects, session history, models, skills, permissions, goals and automations. It emphasizes goal-driven loops, verification via tests, builds and diffs, and durable sessions that survive restarts or model switches. Its original research direction, Paper2Code, turns papers and reference repositories into working implementations; an accompanying paper is arXiv:2512.07921.
