Browser Harness

Lets Claude Code, Codex or Cursor drive your real, logged-in Chrome over CDP.

Browser Harness, from Browser Use, gives coding agents control of the user's real Chrome browser (open pages, click, type, read, download) while logged in as the user. It connects over the Chrome DevTools Protocol and is set up by pasting one prompt into Claude Code or Codex; a SKILL.md teaches the workflow and the agent writes missing helpers into its own workspace. An MCP server (`browser-harness-mcp`) exposes the helpers to any MCP client. In Browser Use's own BU Bench V2.1 comparison it had no statistically significant score difference versus Playwright MCP or Chrome DevTools MCP but the lowest median token use.
