Ante

A self-contained Rust terminal coding agent and harness core, model-agnostic and offline-capable.

Maintained by Antigma Labs

Ante is a terminal coding agent from Antigma Labs shipped as a single Rust executable with no runtime dependencies. It works like Claude Code or Codex without their model constraints, and can serve as the core for building custom harnesses; one settings profile can define a whole agent including a replacement system prompt. It runs offline through a managed llama.cpp engine with GGUF models, can drive other agent CLIs (Claude, Codex) in shared tmux terminals via /term, and is evaluated continuously on Terminal-Bench 2.1 across model families. It is in beta for macOS and Linux.
