Agent Vault
Open-source HTTP credential proxy so agents never hold real secrets.
Agent Vault is an open-source credential broker from Infisical that sits between agents and the APIs they call. Agents route HTTPS traffic through it via HTTPS_PROXY. The vault terminates TLS with a locally trusted CA, strips any credentials the agent sent, injects the stored credential, and opens a verified connection upstream. This covers APIs, CLIs, SDKs and MCP tools alike, with egress filtering and request logging. Infisical announced it as a research preview on April 22, 2026, for Claude Code, OpenClaw, Hermes and custom harnesses, and recommends its commercial Infisical Agent Vault for production.
