Vercel Sandbox
On-demand isolated Linux microVMs for running untrusted or AI-generated code
Vercel Sandbox runs arbitrary code in on-demand Firecracker microVMs, each with its own kernel, controlled through an SDK or CLI. Claude, Codex and OpenCode come preinstalled in the base image, so coding agents can run inside a sandbox. It has egress policies with credential injection on outbound requests, snapshots that can start parallel instances, sessions up to 24 hours on paid plans, and persistent Vercel Drives.
