TRAE

ByteDance's agentic AI IDE, with the open-source Trae Agent.

TRAE is an AI development environment, available as a desktop download and as TRAE Web, that its site says covers the full development lifecycle from ideation and design through coding and testing. ByteDance publishes the related open-source Trae Agent (bytedance/trae-agent, MIT, Python, about 12k GitHub stars), an LLM-based agent for general-purpose software engineering tasks whose repository lists trae.ai as its homepage. Third-party coverage describes an autonomous SOLO mode that plans work and calls tools; this was not confirmed on TRAE's own pages.
