Cua

Open drivers, cross-OS sandboxes and benchmarks for computer-use agents.

Cua (YC Spring 2025) builds infrastructure for computer-use agents. Cua Spaces is a desktop app that gives agents full desktops: macOS VMs built locally, or Linux images, on the user's own machines or cloud. Cua Driver lets agents inspect and operate native apps and browsers on macOS, Windows and Linux through a CLI, MCP or typed SDKs. The stack also includes Lume (macOS VMs), the Cua SDK and CLI for local sandboxes, CUA-S1 small models for computer-use decisions, and Cua Bench for simulated tasks. The repo is MIT-licensed, while the Spaces app is source-available under FSL-1.1-MIT.

E2B

Open-source sandboxes for running AI-generated code.

E2B gives agents secure, isolated cloud micro-VMs to execute code and commands — the execution runtime layer of the harness, used by many coding and data-analysis agents.

Elastic sandboxes for running AI-generated code.

Daytona provides secure, OCI-compatible sandbox 'computers' that spin up in under 90ms — with snapshots for persistent agent state. In 2026 it moved core development to a private codebase while continuing to run as a commercial platform.
