OpenSandbox

Self-hosted sandbox runtime for AI agents, from Docker to Kubernetes.

opensandbox-group/OpenSandbox

Maintained by opensandbox-group

OpenSandbox gives AI applications isolated environments to execute code, run commands, manage files and operate browsers or desktops on your own infrastructure. It starts locally with Docker and scales to Kubernetes through one sandbox lifecycle API, with a Firecracker-based fast runtime (reported 64 ms P50 creation) that supports pause/resume. Per-sandbox egress policies, an ingress gateway and a credential vault keep secrets out of workloads; SDKs cover Python, Java/Kotlin, TypeScript, C# and Go, plus a CLI and MCP.
