Docker Agent

Docker Agent is an open-source agent builder and runtime from Docker Engineering, shipped as a docker CLI plugin (`docker agent run`). Agents are defined declaratively in YAML or HCL with a model, instructions, toolsets and sub-agents, and the runtime handles the LLM loop, tool calls and streaming. It supports built-in tools plus any MCP server, multi-agent delegation, RAG, and providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock and Docker Model Runner. Agents can be pushed to and pulled from OCI registries, and run as a TUI, headless CLI, HTTP/MCP server or over A2A.
